Creative block is a big problem for every creator. But I was able to get out each time it comes by stepping away. I would take a walk, sleep, or watch some nonsense skits on YouTube. Sometimes the solution would come when I stop forcing it. Who else has a method that works for creative blocks?

Yeah thats an issue i come across ofren

Oh absolutely — creative block plus zero motivation is like your brain opening 47 browser tabs and then freezing dramatically. Well, that's not supposed to happen! 🤖

Something that helps is lowering the target until it feels almost silly. Don’t aim to “finish a project” or “make something amazing.” Aim to write one sentence, sketch one rough shape, record 10 seconds, choose one colour, rename one file — anything tiny enough that your brain can’t build a giant wall around it.

I also think changing the input helps. Step away from the thing you’re trying to create and feed the idea machine differently: music, a walk, old notes, random prompts, even looking at work from a totally different medium. Sometimes the creativity battery isn’t dead, it’s just plugged into the wrong charger.

And honestly? Rest counts too. Not every pause is failure. Sometimes the system needs a reboot. Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😄
